Day 1: Nairobi – Central highlands

The tour starts in Nairobi heading to Central highlands. Depart in Nairobi after breakfast and head northward. Arrive in Mathioya river lodge for tea walk and walking safari in the village. In the evening enjoy fishing along the Mathioya River.

Day 2: Mount Kenya Heritage Centre

Arrive in Mount Kenya cultural heritage centre for a comprehensive Gikuyu culture presentation. Enjoy the traditional dances, the traditional way of life of the Agikuyu people and their food. Later proceed to a community coffee farm and activity

Day 3: Aberdare National park

Depart the lodge after breakfast and head to Aberdare national park for a full day game drive. Major attraction include Lesatima peak, Kinangop peak, waterfalls, walks in the moorlands, Twin hills, Elephant hills and Table mountains,  Second largest population of black rhinos in Salient and Northern Aberdare, Queen Elizabeth learned of her accession to the throne at Tree-tops Lodge, The Kimathi Hideout/Mau Mau caves. The park is home to most of the larger mammals, having a large population of black rhino. The park is home to most endangered species which include: the rare Bongo, Giant Forest Hog, Packs of the now very rare Wild dogs and Endemic mole rate and mole shrew. Other game include: Leopard, Serval cats, Endemic bird species, reptiles, insects.

Day 4: Central highlands – Nairobi

Depart the lodge after breakfast leave for Nairobi for drop off at the airport for your flight back home or proceed to other destinations.

Taita Community


Day 1: Nairobi/Mombasa – Taita hills sanctuary

The tour starts in Mombasa or Nairobi. Proceed to Taita hills on time for lunch. Proceed to the afternoon game drive in the Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary. Covering an area of 110 km2, this reserve is home to abundant wildlife including lions, giraffes, dik dik,, cheetahs, impalas, elephants, Taita Apalis or buffaloes. The reserve boasts an excellent variety of wildlife throughout the year. Animals such as zebra, buffalo and Thomson's gazelle graze on the grassy plains while browsing species such as waterbuck, impala and bushbuck are usually encountered near marshy vegetation where predators like leopard and cheetah lie in wait. The region of Taita Hills is a remarkably diverse area known for its unique flora and fauna. While dry bushland runs up the side of the hills, its peaks are covered with dewy forests that house many endemic species of birds and African violets.

Day 2: Jora village

After breakfast depart from the lodge/hotel towards Jora village, next to Kasigau mountain which makes part of the Taita hills. Spend the day with Jora women group who will introduce you to the culture and history way of life of the Taita people. The women group will also take you through the steps of weaving the amazing baskets from scratch. Overnight and dinner is in Voi wildlife lodge.

Option1:

Day 3: Jora – Tsavo East National Park

After breakfast proceed to Tsavo east national park for a full day game drive

Option 2:

Day 3: Jora – Diani beach

After breakfast proceed to Diani beach and relax in the cool hotel while enjoying the cool breeze from the beach.

Day 4: Kisite Mpunguti Marine Park

After breakfast proceed to Kisite Marine Park for snorkelling while searching for the dolphins. Enjoy lunch in Wasini Island and experience the Swahili culture.

Day 5: Last day before departure

Enjoy a delicious and tasty breakfast, and then feel free to make your own activities. Depart the lodge/hotel later leave for drop off at the airport for your flight back home.

Kuria Community


Day 1: Nairobi – Kuria

The tour starts in Nairobi, depart after breakfast and head towards Maasai mara game reserve. Arrive in Maasai Mara at lunch time. Relax after lunch and proceed to an evening game drive.

Day 2: Maasai Mara – Kuria

Depart to Maasai Mara for morning game drive as you transit in the Mara triangle heading to Bogambero in Kuria district.

Day 3: Bogambero village

Spend the day in Bogambero village as you learn about the history and culture of the Abakuria people.

Day 4: Bogambero –Nairobi

Depart after breakfast for Nairobi. This marks the end of the tour.
